Welcome to the production blog for Everything Must Go! This is a project that is and will continue to develop slowly, as I just graduated, and my priority lies in completing a demo reel. However, this is an idea that I have been sitting on for awhile now, and I figure, while I have some time, if I have some time, why not.

This is a story about Flappy (name will probably change), a strange little creature who lives in the drawer of a nightstand, which is on display in a department store. This drawer is a portal between our world and his, and in order to keep this magical door open, Flappy utilizes his location, a place where everything is for sale, to polish the nightstand with Magic Wax, a furniture polish, which is, apparently, magical.

Each night he takes care to infuse the nightstand with the magical substance and dispose of the container, so he can move freely between worlds, and this works out perfectly until one day, his nightstand is sold. In the evening, when he pops his head out of the drawer, he finds himself in strange unfamiliar surroundings, with no Magic Wax around to keep the portal open.

Desperate to keep the door to the other world open, he sets out to do anything it takes.

Again, this is going to be slow. This project is just for fun, and I certainly have other things going on, but I thought starting a blog about it would keep it somewhere in my brain and keep on some kind of schedule. Also, as I progress with the project, I would appreciate any kind of input this community is willing to give me. For anyone who stumbles across this, I will post the script soon.
